Study purpose

COMP 006 is a clinical research study of an investigational approach related to symptoms of treatment-resistant depression, using COMP360, a synthetic form of psilocybin, together with psychological support.

What is COMP360?

COMP360 is a synthetic form of psilocybin. The study evaluates safety and clinical outcomes in people whose depression has not responded sufficiently to standard antidepressant treatment.

Who was the study designed for?

  • Adults with diagnosed treatment-resistant depression.
  • People for whom at least two antidepressant medicines have not provided sufficient improvement.
  • Eligibility was assessed by the study physician according to the protocol.
