EMBRACE CYB003-003 study

Study purpose
The EMBRACE study evaluates an investigational psychedelic substance combined with psychological support while participants continue current antidepressant treatment. The goal is to understand how effective it may be in reducing symptoms of major depressive disorder.
About CYB003
CYB003 is an investigational medicine related to psilocin. Throughout the study, participants are accompanied by a licensed therapist within the EMBARK psychological support model.
Who may be eligible?
- Adults aged 18 to 85.
- Diagnosis of major depressive disorder.
- Use of one antidepressant at a stable dose for at least four weeks.
- No psychotic disorder such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
- No psychedelic substance use within the last 12 months.
Study schedule
Treatment period
Six weeks, including two dosing sessions and integration sessions after each dose.
Follow-up period
Six weeks of in-site visits and remote monitoring.
