Basic study information

For many people, antidepressant medicines do not provide the expected improvement. A condition in which at least two antidepressant treatments are not sufficiently effective is described as treatment-resistant depression.

COMP360 is a synthetic form of psilocybin. It is studied together with psychological support as a potential approach to symptoms of treatment-resistant depression.

Who may participate?

  • Adults diagnosed with treatment-resistant depression.
  • People for whom at least two antidepressant medicines have not been sufficiently effective.
