Purpose and legal basis
Telephone calls may be recorded to improve patient service quality, for training purposes and to protect the legitimate legal interest of the data controller. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest of the controller.
Retention and rights
Recordings are stored for no longer than three months from the date of recording unless the recording becomes evidence in proceedings conducted under law. Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing and object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
